Meet Sarah
Hello, I'm a passionate advocate for women-centered care, dedicated to meeting individuals where they are on their birthing journey. I’ve been in the birth community since 2013 and became a Licensed Midwife in 2018. This was my way of ensuring women have options in how, when, and where they give birth.
In my midwifery practice, I adopt a hands-off approach and I am honored to hold space for your baby to enter the world, in as calm and peaceful environment as possible. I rely on my knowledge, training, and skills as a midwife to handle any needs that may arise during pregnancy, birth and postpartum fostering a sense of confidence and readiness. I believe that birth is a profound rite of passage that every woman should be able to experience while being surrounded by options, love, and support. It is truly my joy to walk along side you and your family during this precious time.
In the summer of 2022, I was honored to be elected as the president of the Association of Texas Midwives, a venerable midwifery school established in the 1980s. This role has unveiled my deep passion for shaping the minds of the next generation of midwives, furthering my commitment to women's care and birthing options.
Outside of my profession, I'm a proud mother of three: an adult daughter pursuing her passions, a son in high school, and a neurodivergent son. In my free time, I cherish moments with my family, explore new dining experiences, and embrace life to the fullest.
